I have a question that I’ve so far not been able to find on my own and wondered if you might know.
I work in a faced-paced environment where frequent word count checks (characters with spaces) are required, and I had a machine up until a few weeks ago that, when the text I needed was selected, would display that number in this toolbar with a quick alt + c.
When that PC died and I got this one, it’s default is set on “Words” to count, so it takes a few extra seconds to get to the mouse and move up to the box, and then click the “characters with spaces” option (I know this sounds trivial, but it really does add up and is quite a bother).
Do you know of a way to set the default word count to display “Characters (with spaces)?”
